Upon entering our office our receptionist will greet you and welcome you as a member of our family. We will request you fill our patient forms located in the New Patient Center. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
Next you will have a consultation with Dr. Victor Sage to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed for Dr. Victor Sage to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic care will you meet your goals.
After your detailed case history, Dr. Victor Sage will perform a complete chiropractic examination of your spine using the following five criteria. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
X-ray Analysis is helpful in evaluating for any disease processes, fractures, posture, joint and disc integrity, and vertebral misalignments. This information allows Dr. Sage to be as specific as possible in correcting your particular problem. Most people are amazed once get they their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

A temperature sensitive instrument allows the chiropractor to evealuate uneven heat distribution, which could be indicative of a subluxation.
Static Palpation is the process of feeling your spine in the stationary position to look for the presence of swelling, tenderness, and any abnormal texture/tightness of the muscles and tissues of your back.
Motion Palpation is the process of feeling the spine while moving or bending in various directions. This allows the doctor to evaluate how well each segment in your spine moves.

Visualization allows Dr. Sage to look for subtle changes in your posture and movements which could indicate some problems.
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, Dr. Victor Sage will give you a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:
After discussing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays or tests, Dr. Victor Sage will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you. If Dr. Victor Sage believes we can help you, we will recommend a treatment program.
Patients will generally be provided with their first adjustment at the conclusion of the appointment. This may include spinal adjustments, extremity adjustments or both. Treatment is interactive with you so you can express any concerns you have about the style of adjustment you will be most comfortable with.
